Bogotá Hosts Red Bull Hard Enduro Event as Ibagué Plans Legalized Stunt Zones

On August 2, 2026, Bogotá hosted the inaugural Red Bull Moto Urbano hard‑enduro competition on Calle 85, featuring 16 national and international riders. The event, part of the Festival de Verano 2026, turned the street into a linear obstacle course and was organized with the mayor’s office, the District Institute of Recreation and Sport, the Mobility Secretariat and transit authorities. Admission was free until capacity was reached.

In Ibagué, Mayor Johana Aranda announced a municipal proposal to legalize motorbike stunt gatherings, known locally as “piques.” Developed with the secretaries of Government, Justice and Mobility, the plan seeks to designate a specific site for the activity, reducing noise, accidents and traffic disruption in residential neighborhoods. Aranda said, “The idea is not to chase them, but to locate them so we do not affect the well‑being of our people.”
