Bogotá Launches Heritage Board Game and Planetarium Summer Programs

The Bogotá District Institute of Cultural Heritage introduced "Aventura Monumental," a board game designed to teach children, youth and adults about the city’s movable heritage. The game features 150 selected monuments and artifacts and aims to promote learning, dialogue and community appreciation of Bogotá’s cultural memory.

In parallel, the city’s Planetarium, operated by Idartes, announced a series of summer activities for families and young people, including "Histories Under the Stars" camp sessions and a 3‑D scanning laboratory. The camps run from late June into early July and combine astronomy storytelling with hands‑on digital creation.

Both initiatives seek to increase public participation in cultural and scientific education, offering interactive experiences that connect residents with Bogotá’s history and its stellar environment.
