Bogotá launches international cultural funding and job vacancy programs
The Bogotá mayor’s office released a new edition of its International Offer Bulletin, featuring three international calls for proposals that target creators and organisations in the art, fashion and culture sectors. The initiative aims to connect local cultural actors with foreign cooperation programs, grants, scholarships and funding opportunities, helping them expand their projects and visibility abroad.
In parallel, the city’s “Talento Capital” employment drive announced 665 virtual job openings, open until 4 July. Vacancies span health, engineering, administration, finance, commerce, logistics, manufacturing and construction, and include roles for both experienced professionals and candidates without prior work experience. María del Pilar López Uribe, Bogotá’s Secretary of Economic Development, said the effort reflects a strong current demand for staff in commerce, sales, customer service and health services.
Both programmes are part of the district’s strategy to boost economic activity, improve formal employment and promote the internationalisation of Bogotá’s creative industries.
