Bogotá opens 2027 public school enrollment
Enrollment for the 2027 school year in Bogotá's public schools has officially opened. The process, which covers early childhood, basic, and secondary education, is available through October 5 and will remain open for applications until December 23, 2026.
The application process is free, virtual, and does not require intermediaries. Once a spot is assigned by the system, families must complete pre-enrollment and upload necessary documentation between October 13 and December 18. Those unable to meet this window may formalize enrollment directly at their assigned schools between January 14 and January 29, 2027.
Failure to complete the formalization process will result in the assigned spot being released to other students.
