Bogotá Planetarium hosts cosmic exhibition featuring Hubble and James Webb imagery

The Bogotá Planetarium is hosting ‘Eyes on the Universe’, an international exhibition featuring imagery from the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes, as well as the European Space Agency’s Gaia mission. Designed by the American Museum of Natural History in New York, the exhibit is making its debut in Colombia to provide public access to astronomical observations of galaxies and stellar distributions.

The exhibition highlights the technological capabilities of the Hubble telescope, which has contributed to over 20,000 scientific articles since 1990, and the James Webb Space Telescope, which utilizes infrared instruments to observe distant cosmic phenomena. The showcase is a result of a strategic alliance between the Bogotá Planetarium and the American Museum of Natural History. The free exhibition is available at the scientific dome until September 23.
