Bogotá police arrest four after armed confrontation in Bosa

Police in the Bosa locality of Bogotá arrested four individuals following an armed confrontation in the Primavera neighborhood. The incident began after citizens reported gunfire in a public thoroughfare during a dispute.

Upon arrival, officers observed several suspects attempting to flee. During the pursuit, police entered a residence with the owner's permission, where they intercepted a suspect attempting to escape via a terrace. A traumatic weapon was found in his possession.

During a subsequent search of the property, authorities seized more than 2,000 doses of narcotics, consisting of marijuana and cocaine base, prepared for sale. The remaining three suspects were apprehended in the surrounding area. The detainees, one of whom has a prior criminal record, were transferred to the Prosecutor General's Office.
