Bogotá police arrest four men for impersonation robberies

Four men were arrested in the Fontibón locality of Bogotá after attempting to rob commercial establishments by impersonating employees. The suspects allegedly used uniforms from recognized retail chains to enter businesses without raising suspicion.

During a police interception following a pursuit, authorities seized a revolver, approximately 150 grams of synthetic drugs, and store-related uniforms. The group was also operating a white Mazda vehicle with a fraudulent license plate placed over the original to evade security cameras.

One of the incidents captured on video involved a robbery at an OXXO store, where suspects used firearms to threaten workers. The individuals have been handed over to the Attorney General's Office (Fiscalía General de la Nación) and face charges including illegal possession of firearms, drug trafficking, and forgery.
