Bogotá promotes sustainable cargo transport initiatives

The Bogotá District Mobility Secretariat (SDM) held the second and final 2026 Knowledge Exchange Meeting of the Zero and Low Emissions Network (RCBE). The event brought together public and private sector representatives to accelerate the transition toward sustainable mobility and discuss solutions for low carbon footprint transport.

Participants addressed challenges and innovations aimed at reducing the environmental impact of cargo transport in the capital. The meeting facilitated the creation of a shared technical agenda to build a more efficient and competitive logistical model. Organizations such as Compensar and Logyca contributed expertise regarding the integration of sustainable logistics practices for urban operations. The forum also served as a platform to promote projects for the substitution of commercial fleets within the city.
