Bogotá receives 300 books from Aena's Hispanic Narrative Prize
Spain's airport group Aena inaugurated an international book‑donation programme by gifting 300 copies of the five finalist works from the first Aena Hispanic Narrative Prize to Bogotá. The donation was presented at the Biblioteca Pública Virgilio Barco and will be distributed through the BibloRed network, covering 30 public libraries and 150 reading spaces that collectively serve about five million visitors each year.
Representatives at the ceremony included María Gómez, Aena’s communications director; Jaime Abello Banfi, director of Fundación Gabo; and Andrea Victorino, director of BibloRed, along with writer Marcos Giralt Torrente. The donated titles include the winning book *El buen mal* by Samanta Schweblin and four finalists. Aena plans to extend the programme to other Ibero‑American cities and institutions.
