Bogotá renews waste collection fleet with 45 low-emission trucks
The public cleaning service in Bogotá has received a logistical reinforcement with the delivery of 45 new Mercedes-Benz Atego 3133 trucks. Provided by the distributor Divemotor to the operator Promoambiental Distrito, these vehicles are being integrated into waste collection, compaction, and solid waste transport itineraries across the capital.
A key feature of this fleet renewal is the adoption of the Euro 6 emission standard. This technology is intended to significantly reduce nitrogen oxide and particulate matter emissions compared to previous engine generations, aiming to mitigate environmental impact in high-density population areas. The new units are designed to increase productivity per ton collected and reduce downtime for maintenance.
