Bogotá TransMilenio reroutes buses for NQS bridge work and MK86 service changes
TransMilenio will temporarily close the south side of the pedestrian bridge on the NQS corridor near Universidad Nacional from 27 June 2026 until 18 July 2026 to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on metal structures, slabs and railings. Pedestrians must use the north‑side bridge; bus routes on the corridor continue to operate normally, with services such as B4, B12, C17, F32 and H17 serving the usual platforms.
At the same time, the dual MK86 service in the north of Bogotá will adjust its route. Starting 2 July 2026, the line’s south‑north direction will terminate at the intersection of Carrera Séptima and calle 103A, returning via calle 107A. Service frequencies remain unchanged, and 17 alternative zonal routes are provided to mitigate delays. The corridor’s modernization includes exclusive high‑capacity lanes and a fleet of fully electric buses, supporting the city’s mobility‑sustainability goals.
