Bogotá's Vassar Festival of Creators opens July 1 with 300+ startups
The Vassar platform, long a leading showcase for Colombian entrepreneurship, will hold its tenth edition as the Vassar Festival of Creators from 1 to 5 July at Parque El Country in Bogotá. Organisers say the event has shifted from a traditional trade fair to a festival format, emphasizing the stories, processes and talent behind more than 300 participating ventures. The festival is expected to attract over 45,000 visitors, building on nine previous editions that hosted about 3,900 entrepreneurs and 380,000 attendees.
In addition to the business showcase, the programme includes live music on a Coke Studio stage, workshops ranging from cooking to yoga, a pet‑friendly zone, and a beer garden. A large screen will broadcast World Cup matches, linking the cultural entertainment to the global football tournament. María Carolina Gutiérrez, Vassar’s executive director, said the new format aims to let people “discover, learn, get inspired and connect with the creators behind each project.”
