boh boh KOBE launches wellness cruise in Kobe

The cruise ship boh boh KOBE, operated by Hayakoma Unyu Co., Ltd., has launched the ‘Kobe Wellness Cruise’ to mark its sixth anniversary of service in Kobe Port. Following its initial launch in 2020, the vessel faced significant operational challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but has now transitioned toward a new focus on health and wellness.

The initiative aims to integrate Kobe’s natural and local resources—including the sea, mountains, seasonal cuisine, and hot springs—into a holistic experience. Having obtained health tourism certification in September 2025, the program seeks to promote a culture of wellness through activities such as walking along the waterfront, thalassotherapy breathing techniques, and consuming local Hyogo ingredients.

To celebrate this launch, a special three-day program titled ‘Karada Omoi Gift’ will be held from September 20 to 22, 2026. The program includes health and stress checks, walking tours, and meals supervised by the Michelin-starred restaurant SEN. Participants will also receive day-trip hot spring passes to Kobe Minato Onsen Ren.
