Bohdalovice u Větřní drainage project wins landscape restoration award

The revitalization of the main drainage system in Bohdalovice u Větřní has received the Special Prize for the Restoration of a Healthy Landscape. The project, implemented by the State Land Office, was honored during the 17th edition of the international exhibition ‘Má vlast cestami proměn’ (My Homeland through Transformations).

The award ceremony took place on September 14, 2026, at the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The project focuses on modernizing water management to slow water runoff, enhance the landscape's retention capacity, and increase biodiversity. Officials noted that such measures are essential for ecological stability and responding to the impacts of climate change.
