Bohemians stadium reconstruction begins in Prague
Construction is set to begin at the Bohemians stadium in Prague following the issuance of a building permit by the Prague 10 district authorities. The project includes the construction of a new southern stand, a retention tank, and sidewalk expansions.
Work is scheduled to commence this Wednesday with the piloting of components for the foundation. According to club director Darek Jakubowicz, if the pilot phase proceeds smoothly, drilling could be completed by early November, followed by the installation of steel baskets and concrete curing. The project also involves the removal of existing structures, including restrooms, ticket offices, and a transformer station.
Club officials noted that the steel structure is already manufactured and painted, and seating is ready for assembly. The construction will progress from the western side toward the intersection of Sportovní and Vršovická streets.
