Bohumín to host month-long Kreativní festival Studentská

The Kreativní festival Studentská (KFS) is expanding from a single-day event into a month-long multi-genre cultural festival in Bohumín. Scheduled for October 2026, the event aims to connect the local community with artists, entrepreneurs, and experts from the Czech Republic and Poland.

The theme for this edition is ‘Fears and Monsters,’ interpreted as a symbol for overcoming obstacles and discovering the unknown. The program includes discussions with notable figures such as Kamil Rudolf (Beats for Love), Filip Košťálek (Colours of Ostrava), Martin Florek (MAF-OVA), and Marian Lipták. Activities will feature dance workshops, yoga, art workshops, and musical performances.

A significant component includes an international poster exhibition, ‘Jazz Posters – Simply Human,’ held at the Hair Train Gallery in collaboration with the Polish festival Jazz w Ruinach. The opening on October 3 will feature an exhibition vernissage and concerts by bands including Slepí Křováci, William, and Foxy Hunters.
