Božidar Saraboyukov finishes fourth at Diamond League final
Bulgarian long jumper Božidar Saraboyukov finished in fourth place during his Diamond League final debut in Brussels. Saraboyukov recorded a best jump of 8.00 meters on his third attempt. In his final attempt, a one-centimeter air foul prevented him from achieving a better result and potentially reaching the podium.
Jamaica’s Tajay Gayle secured the trophy for the second consecutive year with a jump of 8.46 meters. Miltiadis Tentoglou of Greece finished second with 8.40 meters, while Switzerland’s Simon Ehammer took third place with 8.23 meters.
This event served as one of Saraboyukov’s final competitions of the season. He is scheduled to compete in the inaugural Ultimate World Championship in Budapest, Hungary, from September 11 to 13.
