Boise police arrest two suspects in fatal drive-by shooting

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting that occurred in Boise during the early morning hours of a recent Sunday.

Boise Police Department Chief Chris Dennison confirmed that investigators have made two arrests following the incident. Ulisses Macareno, 18, was booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of ‘Murder I - Aiding & Abetting’.

A 17-year-old minor has also been taken into custody. Police stated that evidence indicates the minor was the individual who fired the weapon during the shooting. The juvenile faces one felony charge of 1st Degree Murder and is being held at the Canyon County Juvenile Detention Center.

The investigation remains ongoing, with assistance provided by law enforcement partners in Meridian, Caldwell, and Nampa.
