Boise State athletics prepare for football and basketball matchups

Boise State is preparing for upcoming matchups in both football and men’s basketball. In football, the Boise State Broncos (6-1) are scheduled to face the Texas State Bobcats (4-3) at Albertsons Stadium on October 31, 2026. Analysts suggest Boise State holds a significant advantage as they seek to strengthen their case for a college football playoff spot.

In men’s basketball, the Boise State Broncos will play an exhibition game against Bismarck State College at ExtraMile Arena. This follows preseason victories against Idaho and Washington. Head coach Leon Rice noted that the team is working to establish a new identity after replacing all five starters from the previous season. The basketball team is scheduled to begin its 2026-27 regular season against West Coast Baptist next Wednesday.
