Boise State faces injury concerns ahead of Western Michigan game
Boise State University faces injury concerns heading into its upcoming matchup against Western Michigan at Waldo Stadium. Head coach Spencer Danielson confirmed that several players sustained injuries during the previous victory over South Dakota, including running back Sire Gaines, offensive guard Roger Carreon, and edge rusher Jayden Virgin-Morgan.
Sire Gaines, who has recorded 234 rushing yards and three touchdowns this season, is managing a potential hand or wrist injury. If Gaines is unable to compete, the Broncos are expected to utilize transfers Juelz Goff and Harry Stewart III. Western Michigan may also be missing key players, including receiver Aveion Chenault and safety Micah Davis.
