Boise State ranked No. 25 in first College Football Playoff rankings

Boise State has been ranked No. 25 in the first edition of the College Football Playoff rankings. The Broncos, currently 7-1 and 4-0 in the Pac-12, are the only Group of Six team included in the selection committee's initial list.

The team is currently on a seven-game winning streak, scoring over 30 points in each of those victories. Dylan Riley leads the nation in rushing with 1,049 yards.

Boise State is scheduled to play Colorado State on November 7. While the Broncos possess an elite run defense, they have shown vulnerabilities against the pass. There is also uncertainty regarding the availability of starting quarterback Maddux Madsen for the upcoming matchup.
