Boise State sweeps Pacific in women's volleyball
Boise State swept the University of the Pacific in straight sets during the Orange and Black Classic in Pocatello, Idaho. The Broncos won the match with set scores of 25-23, 25-10, and 25-17.
In the opening set, Pacific held a 17-7 lead before Boise State responded with an 18-6 run to secure the set. Boise State dominated the second set 25-10. Although Pacific regained a 13-11 lead in the third set, the Broncos maintained consistency at the net to finish the match.
For Boise State, Azlynn Tittmann led with 12 kills, while Tehya Maeva recorded 23 assists. Athena Cox contributed four blocks. For Pacific, Nicole Zake led the offense with 13 kills, and Alessia Couchond recorded 28 assists and 12 digs.
