Poland municipalities expand educational and sports infrastructure
Various municipalities across Poland are completing significant investments in educational and sports infrastructure. Key developments include the opening of several new municipal nurseries in Łowicz, Kolno, Bydgoszcz, and Ujście. These facilities, often funded through the ‘Active Toddler’ program and the National Recovery Plan (KPO), aim to provide modern childcare and support working parents.
In addition to childcare, local governments are upgrading school environments. Gliwice is finalizing large-scale renovations across dozens of schools and kindergartens, while Łódź continues its program to modernize school sports fields (Orliks). Other local projects include playground modernizations in Warsaw and Dębno, and the construction of new sports facility backdrops in Bojków. These initiatives focus on improving safety, accessibility, and functional spaces for students and local communities.
