Bojonegoro corruption probe into village funds remains unresolved

The investigation into the alleged misappropriation of Special Village Financial Assistance (BKKD) in Sugihwaras Village, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro, remains unresolved. Although the Bojonegoro District Attorney's Office (Kejari Bojonegoro) elevated the case to the investigation stage in January 2024, no suspects have been named.

The case involves a 2022 road construction project with an allocated budget of approximately Rp1.6 billion. Allegations of irregularities surfaced following a spot inspection by former Bojonegoro Vice Regent Budi Irawanto, which suggested the completed road did not meet required specifications.

Kejari Bojonegoro officials confirmed that the process is ongoing, noting that investigators are still collecting evidence and calculating the potential state losses.
