Bokanjac officials and Zadar Mayor discuss traffic and infrastructure

Zadar Mayor Šime Erlić met with representatives of the Bokanjac Local Committee and local citizens to discuss development projects for the neighborhood. A primary focus of the meeting was addressing traffic congestion and safety at the intersection of Put Vrela with Franje Fanceva and Hrvatskog Sabora streets.

To resolve these issues, the city plans to conduct a traffic analysis in cooperation with Hrvatske ceste to propose solutions, such as new traffic lights and a pedestrian crossing for local students. Additionally, the city intends to reconstruct the sports playground near the school and improve the children's playground in Cilj Street, with implementation planned for next year.

Other mentioned projects include the construction of a bocce hall, which is currently in the final stages of project documentation, and ongoing efforts to improve neighborhood sports facilities across various districts.
