Bożków palace outbuilding renovation begins in Poland

The Nowa Ruda municipality has commenced the first stage of a renovation project for a historic palace outbuilding in Bożków. The contract, valued at 492,000 PLN, was signed with the contractor J. M. from Szczytna. Approximately 299,000 PLN of the funding is provided by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

The initial phase focuses on the comprehensive renovation of the building's facade. These works will include conservation, restoration, and construction tasks conducted under the supervision of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Conservator of Monuments to ensure the preservation of architectural details and historical character. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The renovation follows previous safety concerns regarding the building's deteriorating condition, which had resulted in fragments of the facade falling onto a local road.
