The Bolivian government has promulgated Supreme Decree 5726, establishing the National PATRIA Vehicle Renewal Program. This initiative aims to transform the public transport fleet by providing financing for vehicle purchases to eligible members of the public transport sector.

The program will be managed by the PATRIA Vehicle Renewal Executing Entity (EERV PATRIA), which will operate under the Ministry of Public Works, Services, and Housing. This entity replaces the former EEC-GNV. EERV PATRIA will oversee four distinct programs: GNV conversion and equipment maintenance, GNV cylinder requalification and replacement, the transformation of diesel vehicles to GNV, and the new PATRIA renewal program.

Financing for the program and its implementation via the Integrated Fuel Consumption Financing Information System (SIFICC) will be drawn from the GNV Vehicle Conversion Fund (FCVGNV) and the GNV Cylinder Requalification and Replacement Fund (FRCGNV). Additional resources may include funds from the National General Treasury (TGN), donations, and national or foreign credits.
