Argentina launches Mother's Day retail promotions and banking discounts

Various regions and financial institutions in Argentina have launched promotional campaigns to coincide with Mother's Day on October 18, 2026. These initiatives aim to stimulate local commerce and assist families facing economic challenges.

In Misiones, the “Ahora Mamá” program offers 20% to 25% reimbursements and interest-free installments of up to six months for purchases made with Banco Macro or Tarjeta Naranja. In the Province of Buenos Aires, Banco Provincia is providing a 30% discount and up to six interest-free installments on October 16 and 17, with a maximum reimbursement of 40,000 pesos per transaction.

National banking offers include Banco Nación providing a 30% discount and up to 12 interest-free installments via BNA+ MODO, while Banco Galicia is focusing on weekend promotions for clothing and appliances. Locally, the municipality of Ituzaingó has implemented a campaign of various discounts in sectors such as footwear, clothing, and gifts through October 17. Additionally, Rawson is hosting a special community event featuring recreational activities and local artists to celebrate the holiday.
