Bolivia President Rodrigo Paz Reaffirms Free Health and Education

President Rodrigo Paz told a crowd in District 8 of El Alto on 25 July 2026 that Bolivia’s health and education services will remain free. He dismissed rumors that a proposed “50‑50” plan would shift costs to families, calling such claims false.

Paz urged citizens to verify information and warned that accusations of privatising health or education are lies spread by opponents. He also said successful state‑owned enterprises should continue operating under government control.
