Bolivian Catholic Church updates religious training and leadership

The Bolivian Episcopal Conference (CEB) is conducting regional meetings to update and renew faith formation itineraries. In Zone 4, which includes La Paz, Coroico, Corocoro, Castrense, and El Alto, catechists are meeting at the San Jerónimo Seminary to evaluate current methods and adapt them to Bolivia’s diverse cultural and pastoral realities.

Separately, the Apostolic Nuncio to Bolivia, Mons. Fermín Sosa Rodríguez, presided over the presentation of Mons. Cristóbal Bialasik as the new Grand Chancellor of the Catholic University of Bolivia (UCB). During the ceremony, the Nuncio called on the university community to use their professional knowledge and vocation to serve the country and contribute to the common good and social transformation.
