Bolivian livestock producers hold celebrations and youth outreach events
Livestock producers and authorities in Bolivia recently held events to celebrate the Beni Cattleman's Day and promote the future of the sector. In the Beni department, a traditional horseback parade brought together municipal authorities from Loreto, the Loreto Cattlemen's Association (Asogalo), and academic representatives from the Universidad Autónoma del Chaco to recognize the region's importance to the national livestock industry.
In a separate initiative aimed at generational continuity, the Brahman Committee Bolivia organized a field day titled ‘Cultivar las generaciones’ (Cultivating the Generations). Held at the El Urubó property, the event focused on introducing children and families of producers to cattle ranching and dairy production. The program sought to foster an appreciation for rural work and the Brahman breed among younger generations to ensure the long-term legacy of the industry.
