Bolivian man sentenced to 18 years for triple rape in Valladolid
The Audiencia Provincial of Valladolid sentenced a 30‑year‑old man of Bolivian origin to 18 years in prison after finding him guilty of sexual aggression with a gender aggravating factor and of discovery and disclosure of secrets. The convictions relate to a triple rape of his former partner that occurred in the early hours of 24 August 2024.
The court determined that the accused entered the victim’s apartment after she returned from a night out, threatened her with a kitchen knife, forced her into the bedroom, restrained her and carried out three successive rapes—first using a condom and then without one. He also compelled the victim to hand over her unlocked mobile phone, inspected her private messages and took personal items. He was acquitted of earlier alleged abuse from January 2024 due to insufficient evidence.
