Bolivian police seize cocaine labs and illegal Cytotec pills in coordinated raids

On 7–8 July 2026 Bolivia's Special Forces against crime and narcotrafficking (FELCN/FELCC) carried out two high‑profile operations. In Villa Tunari, Cochabamba, officers destroyed four mobile factories producing coca‑base paste, incinerated about 580 litres of liquid cocaine (“agua rica”) and confiscated additional chemicals and equipment.

In a separate raid, the FELCC arrested three suspects suspected of trafficking Cytotec tablets that had been smuggled from Peru. Police seized roughly 156 tablets, valued at about 160 bolivianos each, after a complaint linked the drugs to a minor's consumption. The operations aim to disrupt illicit drug and medication networks in the Chapare region and across Bolivia.
