Bolivia's central bank reports slight dip in reference dollar on June 13
On Saturday, June 13, the Banco Central de Bolivia (BCB) posted a modest decline in its reference exchange rate. The official reference dollar was quoted at Bs 9.86 for purchase and Bs 10.07 for sale, slightly lower than the previous day's figures.
The parallel (unofficial) market showed a similarly small movement, with the dollar priced at Bs 9.91 for purchase and Bs 9.88 for sale, indicating stability in the broader market despite the official dip. The change occurs amid ongoing road blockades and supply constraints that have pressured Bolivia's formal foreign‑exchange market.
