President Rodrigo Paz urged to deliver promised infrastructure projects in La Paz and Chuquisaca

Departmental Assembly President Rufo Calle asked President Rodrigo Paz to translate the electoral mandate in La Paz into concrete works, citing the recent announcement of roughly Bs 17 000 million for the department and a plan for 101 projects to be completed by February 2027. He stressed the need for roads, bridges and productive infrastructure and pledged to monitor the use of the funds.

Municipal Council President Waldy Caballero announced that the La Paz municipal government will request a larger national budget through the governor to address basic services, water supply and further infrastructure, urging the central authorities to act promptly on the city’s needs.

In Chuquisaca, the departmental parliamentary brigade, led by Lenny Calderón, is seeking a meeting with President Paz before 6 August to secure financing for the second phase of the Jaime Mendoza highway, new radiotherapy units and other road projects, demanding treatment comparable to other departments that have received significant investment.
