Bollate students protest over school security and privacy
Students at the Primo Levi technical institute in Bollate staged a street protest after refusing to enter their classrooms. The demonstration was driven by two primary grievances: security concerns regarding the school parking area, where frequent thefts of bicycles, scooters, and mopeds have been reported, and the lack of doors in certain restrooms. Students claim the removal of restroom doors was intended to increase surveillance, a move they argue violates their privacy and dignity.
Local Carabinieri were deployed to the scene to monitor the situation and ensure the protest remained peaceful. The students expressed their intention to continue the demonstration throughout the morning, demanding concrete solutions and responses from the school administration.
