Bollywood actors expand influence through diverse business ventures

Bollywood actors are increasingly expanding their influence beyond the film industry by establishing successful entrepreneurial ventures across various sectors, including fashion, beauty, fitness, and healthcare.

Notable examples include Alia Bhatt, who launched the sustainable children's clothing brand Ed-a-Mamma in 2020, and Katrina Kaif, whose beauty brand Kay Beauty has expanded to over 300 retail stores across 1,600 cities. In the fitness sector, Hrithik Roshan has built a presence with his activewear brand, HRX.

Other actors have entered the social impact and wellness spaces. Kunal Kapoor co-founded the crowdfunding platform Ketto, which has raised over $150 million for medical and social causes, and is involved with MetaGo Health. Additionally, Ranveer Singh has co-founded SuperYou, a brand focused on protein snacking bars.
