Key films include ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ (2002), directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Ajay Devgn, which follows the life and execution of Bhagat Singh alongside Sukhdev and Rajguru. ‘Mangal Pandey: The Rising’, directed by Ketan Mehta and starring Aamir Khan, depicts the 1857 rebellion sparked by grievances within the East India Company's military.
