Bologna City Council approves anti-discrimination and anti-mafia resolutions

The Bologna City Council has approved two new orders of the day. The first resolution expresses solidarity with victims of homophobic aggression and issues a firm condemnation of all forms of homophobic violence and discrimination. This measure was supported by the Democratic Party, Civic Coalition, and the Lepore Mayor groups.

The second approved resolution involves joining the Libera campaign, ‘Diamo linfa al bene’. This initiative aims to allocate 2% of the Single Justice Fund toward the social reuse of assets confiscated from organized crime, marking the 30th anniversary of Law no. 109/1996.
