Bologna defender Jhon Lucumí set for transfer as clubs negotiate lower fee

Colombian centre‑back Jhon Lucumí, who has made 152 appearances for Bologna since joining in 2022, is expected to leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window. Bologna’s previous €28 million release clause has expired, and the club is now willing to discuss a fee around €15 million.

Interest has been reported from Serie A rivals Inter and Juventus, as well as from Premier League clubs, Milan and Juventus. The club is also preparing a defensive replacement, with Norwegian defender Heggem highlighted as a possible successor.

The potential move follows Lucumí’s four‑year spell in Bologna, during which he helped the team qualify for the Champions League and win the Coppa Italia, and comes as the club evaluates its options ahead of the next season.
