Bologna FC manages transfer activity with Theate return and Rowe replacement search
Bologna FC is actively managing several key roster changes during the transfer window. The club has reached an agreement to bring defender Arthur Theate back from Eintracht Frankfurt on an initial loan with a 15 million euro purchase option.
In the attacking department, the club is seeking a replacement for Jonathan Rowe, who is attracting interest from Atalanta and is reportedly pushing for a move. To fill this gap, Bologna is targeting Samuel Mbangula, a Belgian winger previously with Werder Bremen, and has also been linked to Watford’s Othmane Maamma.
Regarding the defense, despite interest from Championship side Southampton for Czech center-back Martin Vitik, Bologna has denied any intention of selling the player following his 13 million euro acquisition last summer.
