Bologna FC players Jesper Karlsson and Nicolò Casale remain central to ongoing transfer discussions following the closure of the Italian market window.

Swedish attacker Jesper Karlsson has reportedly rejected a loan offer with an option to buy from the Serbian club Red Star Belgrade. Karlsson, who has been training separately from the main squad, currently earns one million euros net per season until June 2028. Because few clubs are willing to cover his full salary, negotiations are complicated. While the Serbian transfer window remains open until September 18, Karlsson's representatives have also explored opportunities in Turkey, the Netherlands, and Denmark.

Regarding Nicolò Casale, discussions regarding his future appear to have been postponed until the January transfer window.
