Bologna FC to play closed-door friendly against Ascoli

Bologna FC is scheduled to play a closed-door friendly match against Ascoli in Casteldebole this Sunday. The match serves as a training test during the league break.

The fixture holds personal significance for Bologna player Riccardo Orsolini, an Ascoli native who developed in their youth academy before moving to Serie A in 2017. Conversely, Daniele Corazza, a Bologna native, represents the opposite direction, having served as a pillar of the Ascoli youth sector for nineteen seasons and currently heading their academy.

Regarding squad updates, Bologna's Emil Holm is expected to be sidelined for four to six months following surgery for a tendon injury in his right thigh. Additionally, Jens Odgaard is training at a reduced capacity due to a right thigh flexor injury.
