Bologna football and basketball clubs announce new midfield and guard signings
Bologna's Serie A football club has identified four midfield options as it seeks to replace the departing Swiss player. The targets include Uruguay defender Mikel Amondarain, Belgian midfielder Ognjen Delorge, Bosnian midfielder Uroš Ugrešić and an unnamed “Mister X”. Offers are capped at €8.5 million, with a preference for deals around €7.5 million, while the club also scouts a left‑back to fill the vacancy left by Lykogiannis.
Fortitudo Bologna, competing in the Italian basketball league, has completed its roster by signing American guard Jamel Morris to a two‑year contract. Morris arrives after a strong EuroCup season with Lietkabelis, averaging 13.5 points and shooting nearly 40% from three‑point range, and is expected to provide experience and defensive leadership for the team.
