Bologna hosts football transfer talks and volleyball market event
Bologna's football club is in the heat of the summer transfer window, aiming to reinforce its defence and midfield. Juventus have shown interest in Colombian defender Jhon Lucumí, and Bologna may include midfielder Fabio Miretti in the deal. The club’s priority midfield targets are Argentine youngster Mikel Amondarain and Serbian‑Hungarian prospect Ognjen Ugrešić, while Lorenzo De Silvestri has confirmed a contract renewal. The future of forward Riccardo Orsolini remains undecided as the transfer deadline approaches.
At the same time, Bologna is hosting a three‑day Volley Mercato from 14‑16 July at the Zanhotel & Meeting Center in Bentivoglio. The event gathers clubs such as Corigliano Volley, whose sporting director Pino De Patto, communications manager Matteo Monte and president Gennaro Cilento will attend. Sessions cover club administration, fan engagement, officiating and the release of the 2026/27 league calendars, culminating in an extraordinary assembly and press conference on the final day.
