Bologna Jazz Festival 2026 announces lineup and program

The 2026 Bologna Jazz Festival features approximately 70 concerts and various multidisciplinary events, including exhibitions, workshops, and lectures. The festival spans the city of Bologna and its metropolitan area, extending into the provinces of Ferrara and Forlì.

The lineup includes international and Italian artists such as Al Di Meola, Kurt Elling, the Yellowjackets, Emmet Cohen, and Fabrizio Bosso. Special programming will also honor the legacies of John Coltrane and Miles Davis. The festival's visual identity for this edition was created by illustrator Tanino Liberatore.

As part of the festival's scheduled performances, trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso will perform with his quartet at the Unipol Auditorium on October 16. The quartet will present material from their sixth album, ‘Routes’, which features original compositions ranging from bop influences to modal openings.
