Bologna Jazz Festival announces October 15 program

The Bologna Jazz Festival will feature a diverse lineup of musical projects on October 15. The evening is designed to showcase different musical languages and the evolution of jazz traditions.

At 21:30, the Matteo Addabbo Organ Trio will perform at Binario 69. The ensemble, consisting of Addabbo on Hammond organ, Andrea Mucciarelli on guitar, and Andrea Beninati on drums, will explore soul jazz, blues, funk, and contemporary jazz through direct interaction and improvisation.

At 22:00, the Camera Jazz & Music Club will host a quintet led by Serbian drummer and composer Vladimir Kostadinović. The performance relates to his 2025 album ‘Iris’, which blends East Coast jazz traditions with complex polyrhythms and polymetric structures. The quintet includes Alex Sipiagin on trumpet, Tony Lakatos on tenor sax, Joe Locke on vibraphone, and Joshua Ginsburg on double bass.
