Bologna Marconi Airport reports 12.7% revenue growth in H1 2026

Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna S. p. A. has reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, with consolidated revenues reaching €95.5 million, a 12.7% increase compared to 2025. The airport's EBITDA rose by 5.8% to €26.9 million.

Passenger traffic grew by 3.6% during the first six months, totaling 5,490,628 passengers. International traffic accounted for 75.5% of the total, while domestic traffic represented 24.4%. The airport also saw a 3.2% increase in cargo tonnage, driven largely by a significant recovery in surface goods transport.

Despite the revenue growth, the net profit for the period was €10.4 million, a 9.3% decrease from the previous year. This decline is attributed to higher financial charges related to increased net debt, which rose to €56 million from €26.3 million at the end of 2025. The company has invested €29.1 million, with €27.9 million directed toward infrastructure.
