Bologna nears Orsolini renewal, eyes Amondarain signing

Bologna is close to extending forward Riccardo Orsolini. The club’s initial offer included a €2.5 million bonus through 2029, while the player requested €3 million. Negotiations appear to be converging around a midpoint, with a total package of roughly €2.7‑2.8 million net in fixed salary and bonuses extending to 2030. The board wants a response soon to announce the renewal before the month ends.

In addition, Bologna has reached an agreement with Argentine club Estudiantes for midfielder Mikel Amondarain. The deal values the transfer at about $10 million (≈€8.8 million) plus a €2 million bonus, with a four‑year contract slated to be signed after medical examinations on Tuesday. The club moved quickly to secure the player ahead of interest from Nottingham Forest, and CEO Claudio Fenucci praised the fit.

Both moves aim to strengthen the squad under coach Domenico Tedesco as the season progresses.
