Bologna public‑transport strike halts buses and Marconi Express on June 15

Tper workers in the Bologna area announced an eight‑hour strike on Monday, 15 June 2026, following a violent assault on a driver. The strike, organized by several unions, will run from 08:30 to 16:30 and affects all urban, suburban and extra‑urban bus services.

During the strike period only limited routes will operate – mainly services departing from the central hub toward the suburbs before 08:15. The Marconi Express link to Bologna Airport may also be suspended. In nearby Imola, some urban lines will run only until 08:20. Tper said it will take technical‑organizational measures to restore full service as quickly as possible after the stoppage.
